Investment Associate to the leading Nordic software investor

Monterro is looking for a highly talented individual to join the team as an Investment Associate focusing on sourcing and execution of transactions.

The position

The position offers the opportunity to become part of a successful and growing team comprised of nine professionals with extensive operational as well as financial experience. You will immediately take an active role in a range of different transactions and be involved in every step of the process, from sourcing of the deal, to due diligence and completion of final transaction agreements. You will work in a fun, dynamic as well as fast-paced environment and have several responsibilities including:


  • Assisting in execution of platform investments, add-on acquisitions and divestments
  • Sourcing of potential investment opportunities
  • Financial modelling and valuation
  • Strategic business analysis
  • Industry research and information gathering
  • Preparation of presentation materials

The profile

You have a genuine interest for PE deal making, identifying value creation opportunities and is curious about the software industry. You are a self-motivated and proactive team-player with an outgoing personality. Furthermore, you have a bachelor’s degree within finance, business or engineering and 1-3 years’ experience from one of the following:;


  • Investment Banking or M&A boutique
  • Corporate Finance or FDD
  • Equity Research
  • In-house M&A department
  • Management Consultancy
